Description
Dermacyn wound care products are produced by using a proprietary electrolysis process, known as Microcyn technology. Dermacyn Wound Care is intended for moistening absorbent wound dressings and for debriding and cleaning acute and chronic dermal lesions, such as Stage I-IV pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, post-surgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, abrasions and minor irritations of the skin. Benefits: Ensures a highly effective reduction in pathogen load, Facilitates the mechanical removal of microorganisms and cell debris, Facilitates debridement more quickly by lysing previously damaged cells which are found in large volumes in infected wounds and Used for cleansing wounds such as ulcers, minor burns and irritations. How To Use: Use Dermacyn wound care to clean and debride wounds and periwound tissue. Do not rinse. To moisten a dressing, apply Dermacyn to wound dressing and cover wound bed. To keep dressing moist, apply Dermacyn as needed throughout the day.
